CONNECT YOUR TEAM

It is time to get everyone connected. We have three primary connections to focus on, STAGE.HUB, STAGE.KIT (the mobile or tablet iOS app), and the STAGE.LINK (the plugin that allows us to connect the actors directly into Unreal).

  1. Admins please do the following in your STAGE.HUB portal within your organization:
    • Create a show
    • Add your team members to the show
    • Start the show by pressing the START SHOW button. (Once the show is started it will allow your team members to see and join that show in STAGE.KIT and STAGE.HUB.)
    • Once the show has started you’ll be prompted to create a take. To get up and running lets type in the following:
      • Session name: Test Session
      • Slate name: Test Slate
      • Description: first round of tests
    • Select SAVE
  2. Every team member should:
    • Download and install STAGE.KIT from TestFlight/App Store
    • Sign-in to your account using your FUTURE.STAGE credentials
    • Select the show and their role. (In step 3, having at least one Actor will be helpful.)
  3. In the Unreal project that will be capturing the scene:
    • Download and launch the demo project and connect the STAGE.LINK plugin. Click here for more info on STAGE.LINK.
    • Link the actors from your team to the scene characters matching their names
